Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
All requests of the Village of Barrington Hills for the inspection and/or copying of its records pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) shall be made in writing and directed to one of the FOIA Officers at the Village Hall, 112 Algonquin Road, Barrington Hills, Illinois.
You can download a Request Form and submit the completed form to the FOIA Officers during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. CST) in person, by mail, or facsimile (847-551-3050).

The Village may post the responsive Records on its website and the completed Request Form is a public record within the meaning of the Act.

In accordance with FOIA the Village will respond to a FOIA 5 business days from the day after the public body receives the request. A commercial request will be responded to within 21 days.
