BARRINGTON HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT PROMOTES FROM WITHIN
Jason Currie promoted to Sergeant

Jason Currie, who started with the department in 2010 as a patrol officer, was sworn in today as Sergeant.

“It’s always an honor to recognize hard work and the dedication necessary to achieve the rank of sergeant in our CALEA accredited Police Department. Jason has done a wonderful job as a patrol officer and I am confident he will be exemplary as a sergeant,” said President Martin McLaughlin.

Police Chief Joseph Colditz had the honor of handing Currie his badge, accompanied by President McLaughlin. Currie’s wife, Elizabeth, did the honor of pinning his badge, as is custom.  Fellow members of the police force came to show their support on this momentous occasion.
