Here’s what’s happening Friday with COFD-19 in the Chicago area

In Friday’s online edition, March 13, 2020, Chicago Tribune Staff reported that Gov. J.B. Pritzker told school superintendents statewide that he will order schools to close from Tuesday, with classes set to resume March 30, a source familiar with the call told the Chicago Tribune.

The governor said the closing will affect both public and private schools.

“Let me be clear: I understand the gravity of this situation and what it means for every community in our great state,” Pritzker said on the call. — Dan Petrella
