The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), although there hasn’t been a meeting since November 2019, has published an update on its website: www.il62study.com. IDOT has shared that the project team has been working to move the project forward. The presence of federally listed threatened and endangered species increases the analysis and evaluation required to select the preferred alternative.
