Congratulations Janet Agnoletti on your retirement from the Barrington Area Council of Government (BACOG) after serving our community for 20 years as Executive Director. President McLaughlin, together with the Board of Trustees, honored Janet with Resolution 20-20 A Proclamation Congratulating Janet Agnoletti Upon Her Retirement from the Barrington Area Council of Governments.

Janet’s last day is Friday, January 15, 2020. Anna Paul, Director of Village Administration, shared her sentiments:

On behalf of the Village of Barrington Hills, I want to wish Janet much rest, relaxation and family time as she retires from BACOG. Her dedication and commitment to conservation, planning and water in the Barrington area will never be forgotten. Under her leadership, the residents of the Barrington Area learned about where their water comes from and how each one of us plays a role in its protection. Her passion for groundwater protection is unmatched.

I personally want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Janet, who introduced me not only to the Barrington Area but to a career in government. She is a true professional who has shown everyone, especially those who have had the privilege to work with her, that excellence is something to aim for every day. Janet’s warmth and expertise will be deeply missed.

CONGRATULATIONS JANET! ALL THE BEST IN YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVORS! WE WILL MISS YOU!
