Barrington Township will be honoring those men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives serving our Country. A Memorial Day Service is scheduled on Monday, May 29, 2023, beginning at 9:00 AM at Barrington Center Cemetery, located on Old Sutton Road just north of IL 68.

An additional service is scheduled to take place at Union Cemetery on May 29, 2023, at 9:30 AM, located on IL 62 (Algonquin Road) between Old Sutton and Bateman. The entrance is unmarked and may be difficult to locate. Parking is limited. Please approach with caution as IL 62 has a speed limit of 55 mph.

A Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 29, 2023, at Veterans Memorial on Park Avenue in Barrington. The parade will proceed west on Main Street, left on Dundee Avenue and right into Evergreen Cemetery. The service at Evergreen Cemetery will begin following the parade.

In observance of the Memorial Day National Holiday, Village Hall will be closed.
