For the past 20 years, Walsh has served as the Department’s Accreditation Manager, guiding the Agency through its initial accreditation, five previous re-accreditation cycles and the current re-accreditation (6th), is underway.
In 2018, Walsh was assigned to the Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) as a Forensic Technician and in 2021, he was elevated to Forensic Supervisor. Northwestern University recognized “Bill” Walsh for achieving over 200 hours of Forensic Criminal Investigation training.
In the most recent couple of years, Walsh earned his FAA Pilot Certificate with Unmanned Aircraft System Rating (Drone Pilot), a challenging feat!
