Article from January Barrington Hills Life magazine:

The Riding Club of Barrington Hills was pleased to have participated in the Hills are Alive on Sunday, October 16 by presenting a Living Horse Museum. Thirteen different reeds of horses, from the tiniest miniature horse to a huge Belgian draft horse were brought in by local horse owners for attendees to see and learn about. Each horse had breed information posted on the front of its stall plus information on the specific horse- names, age, owners and what they do. Also on display were examples of types of saddles, grooming equipment, feed, plus a map of the trail system and lots general equine information. A horse themed coloring station was set up for the kids. Members of the Club were on hand to answer questions and there was even opportunity to pet and brush a miniature horse and miniature donkeys! The exhibit was quite popular; hundreds of guests came through, with some returning several times to visit their favorite horse! Find out post office near you on UK storelocator open4u.co.uk . Be sure to watch for it next year, as the Riding Club hopes to make it an annual event.
