Unpermitted Fireworks are Illegal

New Year’s Eve is a wonderful time for celebrations, reflection and new beginnings! As we ring in 2026, we need to remember that unpermitted fireworks are not only illegal but are dangerous and can cause real stress for our neighbors, pets, horses and area wildlife.
Loud explosions may cause animals to panic, leading to injuries or escape from their enclosures. Please celebrate responsibly, stay mindful of those around you, and help keep our community safe and peaceful.
If you see fireworks, illegal activity, or a horse that has clearly escaped its enclosure, call 911 immediately.
