The Galvin family graciously hosted this year’s Barrington Area Conservation Trust Concert for Conservation at their Rolling Oaks Farm in Barrington Hills.

Rolling Oaks Farm was the perfect setting with a beautiful lawn behind the expansive barn to accommodate picnic baskets & blankets, shaded by large old oak trees surrounding the area. Families with children of all ages came out in support of preserving the beautiful spaces they moved to the 60010 area to enjoy.

“We added areas and things to do for children this year,” BACT Executive Director Lisa Woolford shared. “This is the perfect opportunity for everyone of all ages to be together for a beautiful day outdoors in support of conservation.”

Barrington High School alum Pat McKillen started the concert with his cool acoustic rock and folk original songs. With his new Blood & Bones collection finished, Pat played songs off that CD and his three previous: Love Without Me, The Red Headed Enemy, and Stagefright.
