ComEd understands vulnerable customers are hardest hit by the economic impacts of the pandemic. As such, they are suspending disconnections until March 2021. Please note the moratorium only applies to customers experiencing financial hardship or low income home energy assistance program eligible customers. Disconnections will resume for all other customers.
Anyone experiencing financial hardship, call ComEd at 800-Edison1 as soon as possible to take full advantage of bill payment assistance programs.
