The Village of Barrington Hills is excited to announce the launch of our new CodeRED community alert notification system, which will be replacing the existing system on June 1, 2024. This upgrade will enhance our ability to keep you informed about emergencies, severe weather, and other important community updates. 

Registering for this notification service is simple, and residents can tailor alerts to their preferences by specifying the types of alerts they’d like to receive and the method of delivery – voice (landline or mobile phone), text message, email, TTY, or any combination thereof.

Although your contact information may have been transferred from the existing system to CodeRED, we encourage all residents to visit the registration portal and create an account to ensure continued delivery of future messages and to update your information. 

Alternatively, you can text VBHalerts to 24639 to access the registration link from a mobile device and create your account.
