Oak Saplings at Oaktober Fest

Last chance to pick up an oak sapling at BACT’s annual Fall Family Festival on October 13th from 1:00-3: 00 pm at Far Field Nature Preserve (on the corner of Lake Cook and Old Sutton Roads, Barrington Hills).
Via Metropolitan Water Reclamation District’s Restore the Canopy Plant a Tree initiative, the Village of Barrington Hills’ Heritage and Environs Committee in conjunction with BACT has brought these beautiful saplings for our residents to plant as an aid in managing stormwater.
BACT’s Oaktober Fest will have live music and a bonfire. Plant native shrubs, learn about bees and enjoy seed collecting. For more information, visit: bactrust.org
