Load limits on all Village-maintained streets are now reduced to 10 tons for the next 90 days, or until the village engineer deems the moisture created by the thaw has dissipated and the subgrades are adequately supported. Effective Tuesday, May 1st the seasonal weight restrictions for village-maintained roads will be lifted. Overweight permits are now required for any vehicle exceeding 18 tons or 36,000 pounds and can be applied for via the Government tab on our website.
