6th Annual The Hills Are Alive Fall Festival

Another successful The Hills Are Alive Fall Festival for the books! HUGE THANK YOUS to everyone and their contributions! First and foremost to our financial and event sponsors whose support made this fest possible. Many thanks to our partners and volunteers whose unending efforts facilitated the success of this fest–from setup to operations to clean up and everything in between. Many thanks to our residents, friends and neighbors from nearby communities who fared (yes, pun intended) the misty day to enjoy the delicious BBQ, events and entertainment. Approximately 600 attendees enjoyed the afternoon.

A special thank you to President McLaughlin who endured the Dunk Tank for the benefit of raising funds for Officer Jeremy Hensler.  Almost $500 was raised at the dunk tunk, and yes, President McLaughlin was dunked a few times, the first time by one of the players on his Major Girls Softball Team.  YOU GO GIRL!

In addition, donations made at the beer and wine tent brought the total fundraising amount to a little over $800! A heartwarming THANK YOU to all who contributed to this worthy cause!

SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to Dede Wamberg, Anna Paul and team for orchestrating and managing all aspects of the fest.  Their tireless efforts were appreciated by all.

Photos will be uploaded over the next week or so.  If you have photos from the fest you would like to share, please send to photos@vbhil.gov. Note: your submission is granting the Village use it as it deems fit, without attribution and without cost to the Village.
