Village Hall was bustling today with preparations for Sunday’s THE HILLS ARE ALIVE FALL FESTIVAL

Algonquin Township Road District began the activities by delivering their donation of tables, chairs, and the food vendor tent which they set up.

Mac’s Property Management Services was close behind when they delivered the straw and decor.  They not only donated these items but their team set up the straw bales throughout the “fairgrounds.”

Prairieland Disposal and Recycling brought their donated waste toters, cleaned and ready to collect fairgoers’ disposables.

On cue, resident Boe Cline came out to help Village Administrator, Anna Paul, set the scene. Boe brought the brawn to arrange tables, chairs, exhibitor tents, waste toters, and other large items throughout fairgrounds.

Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago sent Brandon and Mel to deliver and unload their donated oak saplings for fest visitors to take home. What great timing! Take advantage of planting season and “Restore the Canopy”. Brandon and Mel took special care to water and protect the saplings for safe delivery.

Justin and Austin, water ambassadors 😉 from Angel Water, Inc., brought their donated bottles of water, safely storing them for safe drinking on Sunday! It’ll be a crowd-pleasure for sure, especially with Sunday’s predicted temperatures!

And YES! There is more to come but you’ll have to be at
