JULY AT CRABTREE NATURE CENTER

Newly hatched monarch caterpillar on milkweed leaf.

Insects are taking center stage this summer! You can’t miss the buzz in the air, the dancing dragonflies, or the pesky mosquitoes out on the trails this month. Our seasonal monarch habitat is currently housing the newly hatched caterpillar and a pupating butterfly which will emerge from its chrysalis soon. Stop in to visit the monarchs and take part in one of our three insect-themed programs this July!
