Today, kicks off National Police Week, a week dedicated to honoring the service of those law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the communities they served. 

As the nation reflects on the sacrifice made by these officers, as well as their family members, friends, and fellow officers they left behind, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the members of our Police Department for their hard work, service, dedication, and commitment to keeping Barrington Hills safe.
