President McLaughlin, on behalf of BACOG, went to Springfield Lobby Day to meet with elected officials, and advocate for regional stormwater and local road project state funding assistance.  This would be the first time the Village of Barrington Hills has lobbied for funds from the state.

“We’re asking for money for where our roads connect to state roads.  We’re trying to coordinate intergovernmental expenditure.  There are specific projects we would like our state tax dollars to return to our community which may be the first time ever,” said President McLaughlin.
