Roadside Clean-Up Day to Begin Celebrations

Monday, April 22nd is Earth Day, a day that has been assigned this recognition for environmental protections. Various events are planned for individuals to participate and celebrate. (Earth Day History).
Arbor Day is observed this year on Friday, April 26th and is a day that celebrates the role of trees in our lives and promotes tree planting and care. (Morton Arboretum)
The Village of Barrington Hills and its residents are committed to conservation and open spaces. As such, the Village is a proud sponsor of various events to observe both Earth Day and Arbor Day:
SATURDAY, APRIL 20th – Roadside Clean-Up Day: Stop by Village Hall to Pick up bags during business hours.
MONDAY, APRIL 22nd – Earth Day Celebration at Pederson Preserve, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
SUNDAY, APRIL 28TH – Arbor Day Awareness Event at Village Hall beginning at 10:30 AM.
