The Barrington Area Signal Hill Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), will be sponsoring their annual American History Essay Contest and Good Citizen Award recognition event.

The Annual Youth Awards event will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020, at the Barrington Area Library, from 2:00-4:30 p.m. This event is free, open to the public, and refreshments will be served.

One high school level senior will receive the Good Citizen Award, which is a
scholarship for $1000 from the Signal Hill Chapter. The award is based upon a student who possesses good citizenship qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism at home, school, and in the community.
