Social Distance Service Day

We’ve heard that some residents have broken up the monotony from studying and/or working at home by welcoming spring, enjoying time outdoors, and removing winter’s leftovers–the debris that has collected in culverts and along roadways.

With traffic volume being so light, and students and parents probably driving each other crazy by now, the Village thought to have a SOCIAL DISTANCE SERVICE DAY!

Take advantage of being outside, a little exercise and brightening up our Village’s aesthetic. By each person keeping his/her social distance of AT LEAST 6 FEET from each other (the length of a golf cart, the height of an adult horse or the wingspan of a turkey vulture), we can cover a stretch of roadways!

Let’s take advantage of these days through April 7th. Call Village Hall at 847-551-3000 to arrange for curbside service to pick up orange bags and safety equipment (first come first served basis).
