It is with sadness the Village shares that past Village President, Barbara P. Hansen, passed away on September 2, 2023. President Hansen was the first and only female Board President of Barrington Hills. She served two terms, from May 1977 to April 1985. Her obituary shares that “her tenure was marked by significant advances in land use planning and development.”
