CAN YOU SAY YES TO PREVENTION?

  • I CLEAN my hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, and avoid touching my eyes, nose and mouth.
  • I COVER my cough and sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • I CONTAIN germs by staying home if I am sick, except to receive medical care, and I avoid close contact with people who are sick.

CLEAN, COVER, and CONTAIN are the three Cs that public health institutions encourage residents to practice for the prevention of spreading illness and to keep our communities healthy.
