Today, January 19, we remember the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a Baptist minister and civil rights leader, who fought for equality through nonviolence, justice, and love. It is also a day recognized as a national day of service.
We can honor him by serving our communities, listening with empathy and working towards building an equal and compassionate world.
In observance of the federal holiday, Village offices are closed.
