Act Fast: Private Road Repaving Opportunity

Attention VBH homeowners, whose private road needs resurfacing!

The Village Board of Trustees has accepted a bid for the 2025 Road Program. The awarded contractor has agreed to offer an “in the neighborhood” rate for repaving private roads. The cost and availability will depend on the individual road.

Any reduction in rates is because the contractor will already be working in our Village. If the road program has been completed and all the machines have been removed, the costs can increase significantly to remobilize the equipment.

If you are interested, you’ll need to act quickly to schedule a quote directly with the contractor. Contact the Village by calling 847-551-3000 or emailing your name and private road to village@vbhil.gov. Be sure to state that you are requesting the contractor information to pave your private road.

Some things to keep in mind:

• You/your organization will be contracting directly with the contractor.
• The Village is in no way involved with any private contracts.
• The Village is not recommending this company repave your private road.
• The contractor cannot resurface driveways; the equipment is too large.
