BACOG Private Well Water Testing Event Oct. 6

The 2026 BACOG Private Well Water Testing Event will be held on Tuesday, October 6, at the Barrington Area Library.

We hope to see even more BACOG residents this year at the 2026 BACOG Private Well Water Testing Event on Tuesday, October 6, 11 AM to 6:30 PM, at the Barrington Area Library.

• Purchase discounted ($20) water testing kits from September 21- October 6 at your local Village/Township Office. 

• Households with private wells are advised to test for bacteria and nitrates every year to detect these invisible, odorless contaminants.

• This convenient, centrally located drop-off event is made possible through our partnership with the Lake County Health Department and the Barrington Area Library.

• BACOG partners with My Tap Score and SimpleLab to bring expanded testing options to our region’s residential private well owners.
