On Friday, August 18, 2023, Officer Kristyn Ramsey graduated from the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy (SLEA) after successfully completing a 16-week law enforcement training program.

She is the newest officer to join our CALEA-accredited Police Department. Her educational accomplishments include:

• Syracuse University: Master of Science-Medicolegal Death Investigation
• Dominican University: Bachelor of Medical Science
• Loyola University: Bachelor of Science-Environmental Science

Upon her graduation from SLEA and certification as a law enforcement officer by the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board, Officer Ramsey began her field training on Monday, August 21, 2023.
