It’s the first snowfall of the season! It’s supposed to warmup the rest of the week, but this is a good reminder to prepare for colder temperatures:
🍂 Clear leaves from gutters and storm drains to prevent ice dams from forming.
🕵️♀️ Have your furnace inspected by a professional.
🕵️♀️Check the batteries in carbon monoxide detectors.
🏡 Weatherstrip windows and doors.
❄ Prepare your snowblower or arrange for snowplowing service BEFORE the first big snowfall.
❄ Mark your property with snow markers to identify curbs, landscaping, walks, etc.
🚗 Replace your car’s wiper blades.
🚗 Replace worn tires and check air pressure.
🚗 Create a winter car and home safety kit.
