President Cecola Panelist at Barrington Area’s Economic Summit

Village President Brian Cecola participated in yesterday’s Barrington Area Economic Summit, Wednesday, February 14, highlighting that 2023 was the 10th consecutive year the tax levy was reduced. “I am most proud of that…I am happy we were able to keep that going,” said Cecola.

Other highlights were the six-figure road program savings that were a result of going to bid early; that investment in our community continues as 2023 was a record year for issuing building permits, which has continued into 2024; and he summarized the use of body cams by Barrington Hills officers ahead of the 2025 mandate.

President Cecola also highlighted the Land We Love Run, a 5K/10K/ 2-Mile Walk through our Village, is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, airhorn start at 7:30 AM. All proceeds to benefit Folds of Honor Chicago. Details will be posted as they become available.
