In observance of National Groundwater Awareness Week, the Lake County Health Department is offering a reduced well water testing fee for homeowners.

From March 11 to March 22, 2024, prices have been reduced to $15.

Well-water testing kits are available for pick up at Village Hall during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM. Payment is made directly to the Lake County Health Department.

Groundwater Awareness Week was established to highlight the responsible development, management and use of groundwater and to encourage yearly water well testing and well-maintenance.
