Keith Hanson, President of the Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District Board, reminds our residents that in addition to clearing the snow from your driveway, it’s important to also clear the ice and snow off the fire grid sign and mailbox.  As useful as the GPS navigation systems may be, in many instances (shared driveways, non-sequential numbering, assumed street names) the fire number is the best way to help BCFPD personnel get to the right place in the shortest possible time.
