Today, September 11th marks the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. On this day, known as Patriot Day, flags will be flown at half-staff. The attacks in New York, the Pentagon and on Flight 93 killed 2,977 people from 93 nations.

By a joint resolution approved on December 18, 2001, (Public Law 107-89) has designated September 11th each year as “Patriot Day”.

9/11 is also known as National Day of Service and Remembrance. We will never forget.
