After President Brian Cecola called the Board of Trustees meeting to order, Monday, August 23, 2021, the top of the agenda had the swearing-in of Officer William J. Wojcik. Police Chief Joseph Colditz read a short biography about Officer Wojcik who comes to our Village from his previous department with 4 ½ years experience and a list of accomplishments:

Prior to his last employer, he worked in and managed his family’s bakery and deli business.  Officer Wojcik earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University and has a Masters in Jurisprudence from DePaul University.

“Looking at his experience, education and awards, he is the caliber officer that we are excited to have on our team,” said Police Chief Joseph Colditz. “We are super happy to have him join the agency .”  The swearing in concluded with the tradition of pinning his badge.

Officer Wojcik was joined by his family and fellow Barrington Hills Police Department members: Sgt. Ronald Riedel, Ofcr. Mark Johnson, and Sgt. Todd Borck on this joyous occasion.
