In recognition of Barrington Hills Country Club’s 100th birthday, the Board of Trustees, at its meeting, Monday, August 23, 2021, recognized this milestone with a Resolution of Proclamation congratulating Barrington Hills Country Club on the Occasion of its Centennial Year, 1921 – 2021, which was unanimously passed by the Board.

Trustee Laura Ekstrom read aloud the Proclamation and thereafter, President Brian Cecola presented the framed document to C. Robert “Bob” Heaton, President of Barrington Hills Country Club, who accepted the gift on behalf of the Country Club.

“Thank you to each of you. It is very thoughtful.  I was surprised to get the call and pleased,” said Heaton.   He stated the Club is still very viable and that he knew a couple of the Club members whose initiatives resulted in the incorporation of Barrington Hills as a Village and stated their children and grandchildren are still Club members. “The Village has always been there when we need them..this is very thoughtful and much appreciated,” said Heaton.
